PEKK Antero 800NA

Antero 800NA: a PEKK-based high-performance FDM thermoplastic

Antero 800NA is a PEKK-based FDM thermoplastic. It combines FDM’s design freedom and ease of use with the excellent strength, toughness and wear-resistant properties of PEKK material.

Antero 800NA exhibits high heat resistance, chemical resistance, low outgassing and dimensional stability, particularly in large parts.

Appropriate applications include aircraft components exposed to jet fuel, oil and hydraulic fluid, spacecraft parts that demand low outgassing and chemical-resistant industrial parts. Using Antero 800NA with FDM technology avoids the waste associated with subtractive manufacturing of high-cost bulk PEKK material.

PEKK Antero 840CN03

Antero 840CN03: a PEKK-based high-performance FDM thermoplastic

Antero 840CN03 is a PEKK-based FDM thermoplastic combining the excellent physical and mechanical qualities of PEKK with electrostatic dissipative (ESD) properties. The material is fi lled 3% by weight with carbon nanotubes.

As a high-performance polymer, Antero 840CN03 exhibits exceptional chemical and wear resistance, ultra-low outgassing properties and consistent ESD performance. ESD values range from 104 – 10° ohms per square inch. This makes the material particularly suitable for space and industrial applications where these qualities are critical.

ULTEM 9085

ULTEM 9085 (PEI): a flame-retardant high-performance FDM thermoplastic

ULTEM 9085 resin is a flame-retardant high-performance thermoplastic for digital manufacturing and rapid prototyping. It is ideal for the transportation industry due to its high strength-to-weight ratio and its FST (flame, smoke and toxicity) rating. Combined with the Solaxis environment, ULTEM 9085 resin allows design and manufacturing engineers to produce fully functional parts that are ideal for advanced functional prototypes or end use without the cost or lead time of traditional tooling.

Certified ULTEM 9085 meets more stringent test criteria and retains material traceability required by the aerospace industry. Certificates of Analysis for both raw material and filament are supplied, documenting test results and identification to match filament manufacturing lot number to raw material lot number. This allows traceability from printed part back to raw material. A Certificate of Conformance certifies that the material is manufactured per specification.

ULTEM 1010

ULTEM 1010 (PEI): a strong high-performance FDM thermoplastic

ULTEM 1010 resin is a high-performance FDM thermoplastic that offers excellent strength, thermal stability and the ability to withstand steam autoclaving. ULTEM 1010 resin is available in a general-purpose grade as well as a certified grade (CG) for those customers who want to take advantage of food-contact and bio-compatibility certifications for special applications including food production tools and custom medical applications. ULTEM 1010 resin offers the highest heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength of any FDM thermoplastic and is ideal for aerospace and automotive applications.
